Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd.
Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) was jointly initiated by Shenyang No. 1 Machine Tool Plant, China-Czech Friendship Plant and Liaoning Precision Instrument Plant.
It was established in May 1993 and was approved by Shenyang Economic System Reform Commission. The establishment of a joint-stock enterprise approved by the System Reform Document No. 199231.
In July 1996, with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, issued a public offering of RMB 54 million of ordinary shares of RMB 54 million, the total share capital of the company after the issue was RMB 215,823,518, and the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company is a subsidiary of Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd.
Since 2000, the company's economic scale has achieved high-speed growth for seven consecutive years. Sales revenue and machine tool production have both increased elevenfold. Medium and high-end CNC machine tools have entered the core manufacturing areas of national key industries, with CNC machine tools accounting for over 70% of total sales volume in industries such as automobiles, national defense, and aerospace. The company has the capability to provide complete sets of technical equipment for national key projects, supplying 4 track girder processing production lines for the Shanghai Maglev Train project, marking Shenyang Machine Tool's research and manufacturing capabilities in this field reaching international advanced levels. It provided Chery Automobile with four engine cylinder block and cylinder head production lines, marking the first time domestically-produced high-end CNC machine tools entered the core manufacturing field of automotive components and breaking the monopoly of foreign manufacturers in this area.
At present, Shenyang CNC Machine Tool Industrial Park has completed the relocation and has achieved professional reorganization. There are currently nine complete machine enterprises, namely: Shenyang No. 1 Machine Tool Plant, Zhongjie Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Shenyi Lathe Factory, Zhongjie Drilling and Boring Machine Factory, Shenyixisi CNC Machine Tool Division, Zhongjie Vertical Machining Center Division, Complete Equipment Co., Ltd., Laser Technology Division, Fidia CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd.
Through specialized reorganization, business process reengineering, and comprehensive information construction, Shenyang CNC Machine Tool Industrial Park will eventually become a modern and world’s largest (single) CNC machine tool manufacturing base.

In 1949, produced the first lathe of China——Six-chi Belt Lathe.
In 1953, produced the first Vertical Drilling Machine of China.
In 1955, produced the first Universal Lathe of China-C620-1 Universal Lathe
In 1956, produced the first Horizontal Boring Machine of China.
In 1973, produced the first CNC Lathe of China.
In April 1993, Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. was founded.
In December 1995, Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd. was founded.
In July 1996, the stocks of Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. came into the market.(Stock code: 000410)
In February 2001,China Czechoslovakia Friendship Works which belongs to SMTCL won the bid of Shanghai magtiv train railway beam machining equipment project.
In November 2003, SMTCL was selected into the 100 share index of Shenzhen Exchange.
In July 2004,laying ceremony for the foundation of SMTCL Industrial Park.
In September 2004, machines of Shenyang No. 1 Machine Tool Works of SMTCL were awarded with the title of "Famous-brand Products of China".
In October 2004,SMTCL mergered SCHIESS AG of Germany.
The output and sales volume of CNC machine tools broke through 10,000 units respectively.
