Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. uses digital management to enhance manufacturing efficiency

In June, the digitalized spindle assembly production line of the assembly section at Shenyang No.1 Machine Tool Factory of Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. has been in trial operation for nearly 4 months. Since the trial began, processing efficiency has significantly increased by 50%. Since implementing the digital management system, the factory has empowered the assembly process of the core component "spindle assembly," effectively enhancing machining precision, operational stability, and lifespan of the machine tools. This has further standardized and transparently improved production to meet market demands and customer needs.

Last April, the assembly section of Shenyang No.1 Machine Tool Factory independently developed the Spindle Transport Platform System, enabling real-time collection, monitoring, and diagnosis of multi-signal data from the spindle unit. This innovation resolved issues with traditional manual temperature measurements, such as inaccuracies and irregularities, effectively enhancing the stability and reliability of the spindle. Subsequently, through the adoption of GN ring gauge measurement and a multi-source signal acquisition system, adjustments to the spindle preload mechanism and real-time synchronous collection of multiple signals were implemented. This allowed for the transmission and storage of data including temperature, vibration, noise, and power output of the spindle box, ensuring a 100% pass rate in initial inspections of the spindle.

Shenyang No.1 Machine Tool Factory utilizes data management, data-driven decision-making, and data-driven testing to empower precision control over product assembly details. This digital approach further enhances product reliability, laying a solid foundation for efficient, precise, and stable operation of machine tool assembly.
